What is unfiltered pure maple syrup?
To make one gallon of pure maple syrup we boiled down between 45-60 gallons of raw maple sap. Only water evaporates during the boiling process, the minerals which include zinc, potassium, manganese, thiamine, calcium, iron, magnesium, and riboflavin become more concentrated along with the natural sugars. These minerals cause a cloudy appearance and are typically filtered out of the syrup before packaging, in our unfiltered maple syrup we do not filtered these concentrated minerals from the syrup giving the syrup a higher mineral content.
Harvested from our wild, single forrest hard maple stand we are proud to offer maple syrup in its raw form. No chemicals, GMOs or additives. Enjoy all the minerals and nutrients mother nature intended maple syrup to have. Pure maple syrup with nothing filtered out.
Great service, great shipping. There are lots of companies out there selling pure maple syrup. I loved old State Farm website that actually allowed me to see their process. My absolute favorite is the dark unfiltered. We’ve had this at our house for the last five or so years and love it. Especially good in my coffee!

This is it, this is THE one, the BEST maple syrup ever, my friend told me about Old State unfiltered dark Maple Syrup a few years ago and we have ordered gallons since then!!!!!
Growing up, my mother gave us only syrups such as, Log Cabin, Hungry Jack, etc., so that is all I've ever used, whether poured on foods or in baking. I have tried pure maple syrup, only a few times, store-bought and in restaurants; however, I disliked the taste and assumed that is what all maple syrups tasted like, so I stuck with what I grew up on. I am in my 60's now and needed to purchase a "pure" maple syrup to be used in detox-cleansing drinks, which prompted an in-depth research. I learned about the different types of pure maple, their nutrients, and the taste differences. After reviewing what various companies have to offer and seeing the cost of these products, I was fearful of making a purchase per chance it didn't meet my expectations. I finally settled, though skeptical, on Old State Farms, Pure Maple, Very Dark Unfiltered and with just my first taste...WOW!!! No wonder why I dislike store-bought and what restaurants serve; I had no idea what the "real thing" tasted like. I also learned about how the Burkett's went from collecting sap to ultimately founding Old State Farms. It's a really cute story the way he describes it.
The only down side for me is that my consumption of syrup has decreased dramatically, so I don't purchase it regularly anymore, but that said, whenever I am in need of pure maple, since Old State Farms offers a product that is high in nutritional value, and since I have already experienced the awesome flavor of their syrup, I will repeatedly purchase from them. As for the positive reviews that others have left regarding this syrup...BELIEVE THEM!
We ran out awhile back and got some maple syrup from a big box store. Did not compare at all, before we finished the store bottle we ordered another one of these because there is no comparison. Amazing taste.
