Each Spring we hand select several barrels from our crop for aging in recently emptied bourbon & rye whiskey barrels. We source our barrels from the most awarded craft distillery in the country, Wigel Whiskey from Pittsburgh PA. We age in small 15 and 25 gallon barrels to ensure the most intense and robust bourbon infusion possible.
Tasting notes: Notes of caramel & cinnamon, subtle yet sophisticated bourbon flavor in the finish.
Great in coffee, over pancakes or waffles, drizzle over fresh apple pie or sharp cheddar for a sweet and savory snack. Delicious as a glaze on grilled salmon or chicken. The possibilities are endless!
