Our family has been making pure maple syrup for over 20 years on the slopes of the Appalachian mountains in Northwest Pennsylvania. The glacial soil and temperate climate in this region give our hard maple trees one of the best habitats in the world to produce high quality sap which we harvest and boil into pure maple syrup every spring. We hand select several barrels from our crop for aging in recently emptied bourbon & rye whiskey barrels. We have partnered with a craft distillery in Pittsburgh PA as our source for empty barrels.
Great in coffee, over pancakes or waffles, drizzle over fresh apple pie or sharp cheddar for a sweet and savory snack. Delicious as a glaze on grilled salmon or chicken. The possibilities are endless!
