After a 10 spell of cold weather temps finally climbed above freezing and the sap was ran like I never seen before. We had 2 trucks hauling, our 94 International with a 1500 gallon tank and our 99 Ford with a 425 gallon. My two big sugar bushes are 35 miles from the sugarhouse so we spent some longer trying to keep up. 10 hrs sleep in 2 days and we are boiling the last of the run this evening. Total for the week is just over 400 gallons. The only hiccup this week was my dad left the fueling station without the gas cap. $20 at the local truck stop and we’re back in business.
